Please Rise Your Helping Hand

The FHI was established in January 2023 and registered with the Ministry of Health & Sanitation, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Water Resources, and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development as a National None Governmental organization (NGO) within the Municipality Area of Freetown - Sierra Leone.

The organization was established to create space for deprived and marginalized communities to participate in the growth and development of the country through increased access to affordable and quality healthcare programs for their overall development.

objective of the organization
  • FHI will apply for funding opportunities to provide and train nurses to deliver professional medical expertise.
  • The District Medical Team (DHMT) and other community stakeholders will support FHI health initiatives to reinforce and strengthen the overall management of the organization’s overall goals.
  • Development partners and other stakeholders in the communities will support FHI in its obligations to meet the general health regulations of Sierra Leone through enhanced engagement with other development partners and the appropriate Ministry of Health in Sierra Leone.
  • FHI and Landowners will gain recognition from development partners and appropriate environmental ministries in Sierra Leone that will promote the basic health activities of the communities.
  • FHI will work with other international medical hospitals and practitioners in Germany and other health professionals to promote and strengthen the capacity of local health facilities in Sierra Leone
  • FHI will work with the Ministry of Health and other health institutions in Germany to promote basic infant mortality and care delivery for pregnant women.
