Our 2024 Activities: Empowering Education and Community Growth

At the Foundation for Healthcare Initiative (F.H.I), we remain committed to creating opportunities for children and communities through education, awareness, and support. Throughout the year 2024, our organization carried out several impactful activities across different communities in Falaba District, Sierra Leone.

Key Activities Undertaken

📘 Weekly Meetings with School Clubs
Our team held regular meetings with school clubs in Falaba District, providing a platform for one-on-one dialogue with pupils. These sessions focused on identifying students’ challenges, encouraging active learning, and fostering open communication between pupils and mentors.

👧🏾 Enrollment of Out-of-School Children
In 2024, F.H.I successfully admitted a number of children who had previously not been attending school due to financial and social constraints. This effort has given many children the opportunity to pursue their dreams through education.

🏫 Creating Safe and Happy School Environments
We continue to make schools safer and more engaging for pupils by organizing interactive activities and community support programs. These efforts are aimed at improving students’ overall well-being and encouraging them to stay in school.

🎓 Supporting Secondary Education in Yiraia Village
F.H.I enrolled three (3) secondary school pupils in Yiraia Village, reaffirming our dedication to educational access for all children regardless of background or location.
